From the Lab to the Living Room
As a PhD Scientist and mother of three here in Abbotsford, I've lived in two worlds. In the lab, science is messy, unpredictable, and thrilling. It's about failure, iteration, and that sudden moment of clarity.
At home, I watched my own children light up when they mixed baking soda and vinegar, built towers that collapsed spectacularly, or asked "but WHY does it do that?" Those moments—messy, joyful, full of wonder—are when real learning happens.
But I noticed a gap. Opportunities for hands-on, exploratory STEM experiences were hard to find locally. Children weren't just craving enrichment—they were craving the chance to experiment, create, and discover in environments designed for curiosity.
Within one week of sharing this vision, 20+ families joined our waitlist. That response told me everything: our community is ready for something different. Not worksheets. Not screens. Real discovery.
